Yankse is a plugin that replaces the CAM module and access pay card — in other words, it is a program that replaces the “hardware”. This means that with the SkyStar2 card you no longer need to buy anything extra to make some encrypted channels work. This plugin must be copied into the plugins directory (or into the root directory, e.g. ProgDVB, as stated in the readme). This emulator was the first one capable of emulating encryption systems. You may also encounter the name MDYankse — the author created it mainly for SS1 and the MultiDec program, which is why “MD” appears in the name. For me, it was the best and most user‑friendly emulator. The author, Vlinders, announced long ago that he was ending development of this emulator, but I think he is still active — just read the readme in S2emu or vPlug. It is a pity that it is no longer being developed; I would definitely have stayed loyal to it. It was so popular that it was translated into several languages (including Slovak). Finally, a warning: This software is intended only for study purposes. It is forbidden to use it for illegal viewing of paid television.
