Emunation is a plugin that replaces the CAM module and access pay card — in other words, it is a program that replaces the “hardware”. This means that with the SkyStar2 card you no longer need to buy anything extra to make some encrypted channels work. This plugin must be copied into the plugins directory (or into the root directory, e.g. ProgDVB, as stated in the readme). Supported systems and warnings can be read in the About section (see the image on the right). I tested this emulator when it was released, but it is probably no longer being developed (other emulators likely replaced it). However, you can still try it — it can still decode some things. This emulator does not use softcam.key, but emukeys.key (it is the same as softcam.key, but must be renamed because Emunation reads from emukeys.key). This emulator is probably used by very few users, so I will not go into detail about it.
And finally, a warning: This software is intended only for study purposes. It is forbidden to use it for illegal viewing of paid television.
