At first I had a DVD-ROM drive from NEC, which often malfunctioned. After some time I decided to buy a DVD burner. I didn’t research which one was the best, fastest, or quietest. In the PC store they offered me a Teac, saying that nowadays it is slightly above average, burns all types of CDs and also DVD -R/+R/-RW/+RW except RAM, so I took it. I’ve had it for about 3–4 years and so far I haven’t noticed any major burning errors. To be honest, I’m not a “maniac burner”, and during that time I’ve burned around 150 ± 10 DVDs.
